This 1 Day course provides a comprehensive overview of the design, operation, and integrity management of Steam Methane Reformers (SMRs). It serves as a foundation for understanding the process, equipment function, and preventative measures to reduce equipment failures. Topics include the fundamentals of SMR design, operation, and shutdown, as well as integrity management strategies essential for RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) and IOW (Integrity Operating Window) programs. The course also covers specific components of SMR systems, including catalyst management, radiant systems, and convective heat transfer sections, providing attendees with critical knowledge for preventing failures.
